The ICTUS ventilation unit has a timer in the system that lets you know when your filters need maintenance. LED3 will turn green every 3 months to indicate that the filters require maintenance. You may also notice this if you have a remote control, as from then on it will show a white light instead of a green one when in use.
For maintenance you must remove both filters from the device, the filters are behind the removable parts with 'Fresh air' and 'Extraction' on them.
After removing the filters, you can clean them with a vacuum cleaner ( not wet! ). After cleaning with the vacuum cleaner, you can put the filters back in the device. When inserting the filters, look at the arrow on the sticker of the filter, this arrow must point in the same direction as the arrow on the device (these always point into the unit, never outwards).
Depending on the environment, the filters can remain in your device for 6-12 months with proper maintenance. You can order new filters from your installer.
The filters should be cleaned every 2-3 months.
Depending on the environment, the filters can last 6-12 months before they become saturated.
If you use the mobile application, you can go to the settings of your location and there you will find the reset filter dot. In this block you can reset the filter timer.
If you do not use the application, you can reset the timer by removing the electronics cover from the device (small cover with the lights) and pulling out the green connector with the white wire on the PCB, wait 15 seconds, and then then put the connector back in place. This resets the timer.
NB! this only works when the alarm is active. (in the application this works at any time)
The remote control always gives a light indication when pressing one of the buttons. If no light indication is visible when pressing the buttons, this means that the battery is empty.
It is also possible that there will be a peach colored light or a red/green alternating light, these lights mean that the battery is almost empty and that the battery voltage is too low to guarantee that the full signal can be sent, here the battery must therefore also be replaced.
