  • What is a ventilation system D?
A ventilation system D is a ventilation system that provides both the supply and the exhaust of air. It is a combination of the older systems B and C, where in a B or C system only 1 airflow is controlled, this is the case with both airflows in a D system.
  • Which ventilation systems exist?
System A: natural ventilation. With an A system there is no assistance for the supply or exhaust of air System B: A system B is a system in which the supply of air is automated and the air is discharged naturally. The disadvantage of this is that you have a lot of heat loss due to the way the air is moved. System C: A system C is a system where the exhaust of the air is automated and the supply is natural. The disadvantage of this is that you also bring in cold air during a cold period, which leads to a higher heating cost. System D: A system D is a system where both the air supply and exhaust are automated. This in itself has the great advantage that the supply and exhaust of air in your rooms is always in balance.
